May 2nd 10am - 12:30pm
Join us for an informative talk about pollinators, pollinator gardens & native plants.
“Pollinator gardens are designed to attract pollinators - butterflies, humming birds, bees, and other beneficial insects - and lots of them.”
Andy & Reid from Sustainable Roots Ecological Restoration will be here to guide us through planting for pollinators and native plants we can carefully select to maximize the potential for different pollinators.
“We are dedicated to increasing local biodiversity through pollinator garden installation, invasive species management, reforestation, and educational outreach.”
Of course, we will enjoy coffee, tea and yummy local nibbles while we meet.
TICKETS ARE LIMITED!
Rain or shine on the farm so please dress accordingly!
ESSENTIAL OILS & THE GARDEN
May 23rd 1 - 3pm
As a flower farmer I use essential oils in many ways - bug repellents, home made insecticidal soap and just to diffuse to relax at the end of a long day. When you use essential oils, you’ll have more natural solutions and fewer toxic, synthetic products in your life.
We’ve called in Deanna @realifewithdee to share with us all the need-to-know info about essential oils. She will answer all your questions - What are they exactly? How do we use them? Where in the garden can they be used?
This is a Make & Take workshop. After Deanna takes us through the world of essential oils, you will create your own bottle of natural, chemical free bug repellant to take home and use all season.
As always, there will be yummy goodies and a variety of beverages served while we work.
THIS IS AN ON-FARM EVENT (UNLESS THE WEATHER IS HORRIBLE) SO PLEASE DRESS ACCORDINGLY.
TICKETS ARE LIMITED!

Experiences
Meet the Bees
Have you ever wanted to do a hive dive & meet the honeybees?
During the season we will be offering bee experiences where you suit up with our head beekeeper, Dave, and open up a hive to see what’s going on.
Identify all parts of the hive plus who’s in there. Who knows, you may even see the Queen Bee herself!
Flower Field
From our field to your vase, our stunning seasonal flowers bring beauty & joy to any space.
We grow our all our flowers chemical free and pick them at the peak of perfection so you always get the most beautiful blossoms.
We will host PYO days on the farm starting in late summer when the flowers are abundant. Stay tuned to this space or Instagram for deets.
If you’d like to plan a special event that includes picking flowers & basic flower arranging get in touch.
In the meantime, please feel free to order a seasonal bouquet ! They are farmer’s choice as every flower has its season.
Do you know?
According to a recent Harvard study flowers have a long-term affect on moods.
Flowers chase away anxieties, worries and the blues at home & people feel less stressed.
